Classic Roan Coat
Photo Credit to: This is an example of Classic Roan in the equine coat. With the classic roan, coat is intermixed with white and the darker hairs, except for the characteristic inverse "V" on the legs, and the darker head, mane and tail.

Rabicano Arabian
Photo Credit to: Amentaah Egyptian Arabians. This is an example of Rabicano phenotype which shows white markings on lower legs, and concentrated white hairs in areas such as the barrel. While this may also indicate some sabino characteristics, the concentration of white hairs, coupled with the tailhead white hairs indicates Rabicano patterning. While there is no genetic test yet (as of 2021) for Rabicano, it is thought to be one (or a couple) of KIT mutations to produce this gorgeous result.
