Colordale Farm is a small, family run colored thoroughbred and sporthorse breeding and training farm in Northern Shenandoah Valley within 45 minutes of the five largest Equestrian Hunter, Jumper, Dressage, Foxhunting, and Eventing show venues in Virginia:  Middleburg, Warrenton, Upperville, The Plains, and Morven Park.  We specialize in breeding, raising, and training Sporthorses and Thoroughbreds of Color with bloodlines including but not limited to: Remarquez, Glitter Please, Milkie, Awesome Again, Pulpit, Dixieland Band, Forty Niner, Halo, Roberto, Ribot, Storm Cat, AP Indy, and Bend Or.

Our superior breeding program produces Hunter prospects with superb conformation and amateur temperaments, Jumper prospects with scope and bascule, Eventing prospects with beautiful Dressage movement and bold, sound, and willing minds all wrapped in Frame Overo, Dominant White, Overo, Roan, Cremello, Palomino, Buckskin, and Rabicano equine coat colors.

Our training program starts from before our foals are born, and the moment our babies are born, we incorporate learning opportunities into daily life.  Our philosophy is that every interaction teaches our babies and helps them grow, so we strive for positive experiences and work towards cooperative, healthy, and happy human interactions making our babies well adjusted and solid prospects for our clients. We keep it fun and light, and our babies love school!  We also set yearlings and 2 year olds up for saddle & bit-work and start them on free work and joining up with ground commands.

Standing for stud Frame Overo and Dominant White Thoroughbred Stallion Remarquez (Racey Remarque (Sonny's Solo Halo) x Wine Cooler) for both Fresh Cooled and Live Cover, and occasionally breeding to outside stallions, we invite you to contact us for more information on breeding to our lovely boy, or for occasional sales.
